I was at the Campus Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour in UNIPORT(University of Port Harcourt). I was invited to seat on a panel and discuss issues related to blockchain and cryptocurrency in front of an audience of over 3000 students. The event was held on the 24th of September, 2019.
The Campus BCAT is aimed at spreading awareness about blockchain and cryptocurrency and creating a community of Blockchain enthusiasts on Nigerian campuses.
During the Panel session, I shared my advice, passion, and story. I started my crypto journey with a negative account balance. I worked my way from zero to hero. I shared the story of how I volunteered for several Steem communities and became a popular Steemit writer and ambassador. I now volunteer for EOS Nation and work for BOSCore as their community manager.

I made the following statement during my speech and I believe that it’s tweet-worthy:
China is creating its own cryptocurrency. Facebook is creating its own cryptocurrency. Young people wake up! Don’t wait for your government, if you do they will keep calling you “lazy Nigeria youths”.
Every tech giant or major multinational company or organization (even churches) you know, from Microsoft to Wallmart are creating their cryptocurrency or blockchain product.
Get an education on blockchain and cryptocurrency, add it to whatever you are doing in school and it would give you an edge in the labour market. Click to Tweet!!
