Gyftie is a collaborative hive-intelligence integrated financial and reputation system built on EOS.
Those are big fancy words I culled from the Gyftie app. To put it simply, you get paid GFT tokens when you sign up and you can immediately convert them to EOS after unstaking.

The app is new and experimental. It’s like a Universal Basic Income App where people earn money for signing up and inviting friends. The payouts are insanely high (and fishy) and the economic model behind it is yet to be understood. But hey! It’s working right now! I earned 5 EOS for signing up. You could also earn some EOS tokens for signing up and using the app. The amount of Gyftie tokens that is issued to a new user gets keeps reducing with time because of the way the program is designed.

Multiple accounts is a big sin in Gyftie ecosystem. So they require your government issued ID number and the expiry date on your ID for verification. Please don't ever open multiple accounts for the sake of acquiring more tokens as this would just ruin your reputation.
Your ID numbers are not saved — they are salted & hashed(cryptographically), then published on the EOS blockchain. Please don’t ever create multiple accounts on Gyftie, doing so would only ruin your reputation.
