We are on the brink of cryptocurrency adoption and people are going to get paid for learning about cryptocurrency. If you are not familiar with cryptocurrencies, this may sound strange to you but if you have been lurking around the crypto space, you should already know that people get paid for doing simple things. All forms of value will eventually be represented as tokens. Everything will be decentralized and tokenized.

There are cryptocurrency projects that pay people for doing simple things. Why shouldn’t people be paid for doing important things like learning?

Automation, AI, and robotics are going to take away a lot of jobs. The global rate of unemployment is only going to keep rising as this happens. Humans, will need to invent new jobs for themselves.

Karma Rewards Users for Doing Good

Karma is one of the dApps on EOS that rewards users for their activities. The rule is pretty simple: do good and make a post about it on karma app and in twenty-four hours, you would be able to cash out some reward for your good deed in form of karma tokens. Imagine a world where people are actually paid to do good. Even bad people would want to do good just for the sake of making money. Wouldn't you rather live in that kind of world?

The Future of Gaming is "Play to Earn"

Brendan Blumer, CEO of Block.one recently twitted that the future of gaming is “play to earn, he also said that "pay-to-play” just became “play-for-pay”. This means fun time for gamers! There are many gaming dApps on EOS where people can earn game tokens for their participation. Users can win rare items and sell them for a profit. Gaming is booming industry and the trading of game assets has landed some people a fortune. The EOS blockchain will bring integrity and a seamless financial structure to gamers. With the help of the EOS blockchain, users can have true ownership of their gaming assets and microtransactions become more efficient because there are no transaction fees.

There are some exciting games already on EOS where people can earn EOS based tokens and many more are on their way. ITAM Games, for example, released a video showcasing the games that they are building on EOS.

Coinbase Rewards Users for Learning

Coinbase Earn allows users to earn cryptocurrencies, while learning about them in a simple and engaging way. The idea is for users to understand more about an asset’s utility and its underlying technology, while getting a bit of the asset to try out.

Coinbase is one of the most renowned exchanges in the cryptocurrency space and with their, “Coinbase-learn” program, they plan to incentivize users to learn crypto by rewarding them with Ox tokens.

Is EOS Going to Rewards Users for Learning?

I believe that “earn as you learn” systems are the future of cryptocurrency education and I wouldn't be surprised if an “earn-as-you-learn” program springs up in the EOS community. Maybe block.one would create an app specifically for the purpose of incentivizing EOS education. There have been rumors that Block.one is going to do a massive airdrop or create a sort of UBI on their social media app that is scheduled to launch in June. They have already created Elemental Battles, a game that teaches developers how to build on EOS. Elemental battles do not reward users with tokens for using the app but it makes it fun and enjoyable to learn to code on EOS.

Elemental Battles is a free, eight-lesson online tutorial based around a demo of a game set in a fantasy world in which players harness the power of three ancient elements — Wood, Water and Fire — as they engage with the basic building blocks of the EOSIO codebase and learn how to create apps on the platform.

What do you think? Do you think that there is a need for an EOS application that would reward users for learning about EOS? Do you think it is right to incentivize education? Do you think that an app to incentivize EOS education would spring up in EOS soon? Tell us what you think in the comments section.
