BOSCore Presentation at Campus Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour in the University of Ibadan
On the 7th September 2019, the University of Ibadan was taken by storm as it hosted the first-ever Campus Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour (CampusBCAT2019) powered by CryptoTVplus. The aim of the event which held at the Otunba Subomi Balogun Conference Center, UI Hotels, was to educate the general student body about cryptocurrency and blockchain, to engage the existing campus blockchain community and point them to opportunities available in the industry. The theme was “Practical Application of the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency”.
Speakers
Cryptotvplus invited many blockchain experts to enlighten the audience on varied subject matters relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
These amazing speakers include:
• Chiagozie Iwu (CEO of Naijacrypto.com) spoke on the importance of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Igwe Chrisent (CEO and founder of Sumo bank) delivered a scintillating lecture on “Blockchain Career Opportunities and Entrepreneurship”.
• Franklin Peters (Bitfxt) spoke on the “Practical Applications of Blockchain”. He emphasized how people can make day-to-day transactions with cryptocurrency using boundlesspay.
• Chinedu Obidiegwu (Luno Marketing Manager) spoke on the exciting feature of the Luno wallet and exchange. Luno is one of the most prominent local exchanges in Nigeria.
• Tola Joseph (Founder, Crypto Masterclass) spoke on the dynamics of “Cryptocurrency Trading and Investment”.
• The renowned CryptoPreacher was equally present to speak at the event. He also spoke on cryptocurrency trading and investment.
• Toju Kaka (Africa community manager for BOSCore) gave a presentation titled; “taking roles in blockchain communities across the globe”.
One highlight of the Campus BCAT at the University of Ibadan was the panel session which had some crypto experts answering vital questions concerning cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
BOSCore Presentation
Toritseju Kaka, Africa Community Manager for BOS, gave a presentation about BOSCore during the conference. In his presentation, he informed all present that BOS is the best platform to build blockchain applications intended for real-world businesses because of its advanced features such as 3 Seconds LIB and inter-blockchain communication (IBC).
In his presentation, Kaka also talked about how he started his cryptocurrency journey. He encouraged the students to become early adopters of blockchain. and to find their niche and position themselves in blockchain communities as value producers. He noted that community building is very important, especially in blockchain because the blockchain space is still in its infancy.
He informed the audience that BOSCore has a global community and is highly interested in attracting the best minds from all over the world. One way in which BOS is achieving this is their work proposal fund or grant of 100 Million BOS tokens to support teams that can build tools or projects that can bring value to the BOS ecosystem. Equally, there is a BOS sub-community in Africa which has been growing at a very rapid pace.

The Campus BCAT at the University of Ibadan was no doubt a huge success. Campus BCAT is a tour, and it just began; the event will occur in many other universities. On the 24th of September 2019, the University of Port Harcourt will host the second edition of Campus BCAT and this time it would be bigger.
