The EOS Community Conference is a yearly conference that brings together the global EOS community. It focuses on developers, entrepreneurs and investors. The event is aimed at helping people understand what is happening in the EOS.IO ecosystem through Keynotes, dApp showcases, and panels.
The 2nd EOS Community Conference will take place between 15th and 18th of October in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. It’s a four days event. The first day is tagged the Rio Blockchain Conference (RBC). RBC is focused on showcasing the Latin America blockchain ecosystem, promoting blockchain education, facilitating connections and showcasing blockchain solutions that are making an impact. The second day is the ECC proper which is all about connecting the EOS community to collaborate and build the decentralized future. The ECC would focus on discussing the latest developments in EOS.IO and the pressing issues that are affecting the EOS ecosystem. The third and fourth days would focus on discussions to consummate the wonderful experience.
BOSCore is a public chain based on EOS.IO that is passionate about growing the EOS.IO ecosystem. As seen in different tech updates, BOSCore has made remarkable technical contributions to EOS.IO. BOS Executive Team(BET) members Yves La Rose and Igor Lins e Silva would represent the BOSCore Community during the conference. Yves would focus on topics relating to governance and BOS unique referendum and WPS system, while and Igor Lins e Silva would focus on the technical aspects of BOS such as BOS 3 Seconds LIB.
BOSCore has been able to implement a successful worker proposal and referendum system where there are adequate checks and balances to avoid gamification.
