Blockchain Saturday is a periodic meet-up where cryptocurrency enthusiasts and experts within the ecosystem come together to synergize, share ideas, and network. It is the perfect avenue for people who want to learn how crypto works to network with experts and learn about different projects.
Africa Community Manager of Boscore Toritseju Kaka made a BOS presentation at Blockchain Saturday event in Lagos Nigeria on the 22nd of June, 2019.
Lagos is fast becoming a hub for blockchain and cryptocurrency in Africa being ranked by google trends as the country with the highest number of Google search for bitcoin.
In the Presentation Kaka talked about the EOS.IO ecosystem and the advanced features of BOS which includes the 3 Sec LIB, Inter-blockchain communication, and the 100million worker proposal funds.
BOS is not only a side chain of EOS, and it will also become a side chain of other public chains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The goal is to become a free port for digital currencies. The inter-chain communication functions supported by the BOS Network will affect the operation of the entire blockchain industry. All kinds of digital assets can link traditional isolated digital assets into a network through inter-chain communication, including BTC, ETH, EOS or other certificate assets. They can be traded and transferred on the BOS Network.
Other speakers and notable personalities at the event include Chris Ani, CEO of Cryptohub, Enitan Bello, Co-founder & CTO of Finmex.io, Franklin Peters, CEO of Bitfxt Technologies, Mosun Omotunder, Writer and Behavioral Psychologist and Steven Moses, Jamaa Lead Ambassador.
Special thanks to EOS Nation for co-sponsoring the event.
