BOS 3 Seconds LIB Activation Meeting: Comments from the Global Community.
BOS 3 Seconds LIB was launched on the 6th of Aug, 2019. This is a big deal for the blockchain industry as it creates new possibilities for dApps and blockchain businesses who were hitherto limited by the performance of current blockchain infrastructure. BOS has been dubbed by the Chinese community as Blockchain Alipay because it can facilitate systems that can stand shoulder to shoulder with major payment systems like Alipay and Wechat and even outperform them.
EOS/BOS BPs, wallets, software companies and BOS supporters from all over the world attended the 3 Seconds LIB activation zoom meeting.
The following paragraphs highlight some of the comments and praises from the BOS global community after the successful launch of BOS 3 Seconds LIB. Other details and technical information about the launch can be found here.
Yves La Rose, CEO of EOS Nation.
Yves La Rose is the Co-founder and CEO of EOS Nation. He has made incredible contributions to the EOS network from the area of governance, thought leadership, education, community building, e.t.c. Yves also is a member of the BOS Executive Team/BET/BOS foundation.
He had the following things to say about BOS 3 Seconds LIB:
I was in the background, I was testing the 3 Seconds LIB. By the time I click on the transaction, by the time the pages loads, it's already irreversible. For the fin-tech industry, it’s crazy fast. I was just playing around sending transactions to people just to test it out. It works so well, it’s great. Imagine the possibilities when you are playing games or if you want to finalize for any type of transaction especially for the fin-tech industry. The power that this is going to bring. This is taking blockchain 3.0 and adding the first major upgrade (in my opinion) where tech-wise, the possibilities are that much better. From the 3 minutes(in EOS) to the 3 seconds, it’s pretty much instant at this point and it’s irreversible, it’s immutable, it’s just great! I’m kinda blown right now!!

Tony said that he and his team (Jeda BP) are early investors in BOS. From last year, they have paid attention to the BOS project and they have joined some tested with the BOSCore team. He said that it was an honor to join the zoom call and that he is happy to witness this moment. He said that BOS 3 Seconds LIB is the blockchain revolution. That it would bring technical features to their community in Japan which is a properly regulated country and that is very open to the blockchain technology.
He said that they may not be able to do much on the technical parts currently but they can greatly participate in the community building and operations. He cited several examples where they can take part in the community building. They have had talks with EOS Shenzen and they are promoting BOS in Japan. They have also talked to some big companies. One of them that has 150,000 users and they will use the BOSCore chain for their products. The other one is Unico. In Japan, there are so many big companies for games. Now they are negotiating with some companies and in the near future, they will use Unico and BOSCore.

Deepchain is a famous blockchain media in China. Chanchan from Deepchain made the following comments about BOS.
Today is a very important date for the blockchain industry. We know that BOSCore is born for DApps and what we are doing is for the Dapp ecosystem. From BTC to ETH to EOS and to BOS, there have been many upgraded features. BOS 3 seconds LIB is a very advanced feature with its great and strong infrastructure for payments and dApps and games. Even though we are in the early stage of the blockchain industry, I think that BOSCore has set a new benchmark for the whole industry.

I have been waiting for this for a long time and thanks for the invitation. This is so exciting. Actually, we are the first batch of the BOS investors and to further long term we always believe in the BOS team. We kept promoting BOS and we kept developing with the BOS team. Personally, I’m in favor of BOS. It’s hard to see projects that focus on developing the technical features and this not the problem of somebody or someone, this is a problem for the whole industry. Today we see a team that focuses on the tech and they achieve.
We want that to BOS to create more dApps for the devs and the users. Nowadays you can see that the EOS wallets are faster than the bitcoin wallet but actually, it is not so fast. Actually, in EOS you have to wait for three minutes(for finality) but today BOS 3second LIB make it possible in 3 and 2 seconds. More advanced features of BOS are in development and TokenPocket would keep developing with BOS team and with the community.

Congratulations! Well-done to the BOS community on a successful launch. There was a lot of preparation that went into that, a lot of testing, to see it go so smoothly was fantastic. So, well-done everybody involved in that. And I must agree with the sentiment that everyone is giving that this is a big thing for e-commerce and commerce in general. Specifically in the retail sector.
I was involved with a cashless shopping system that we were developing for the EOS platform using computer vision and sensory technologies to perform cashless check out free shopping using blockchain. One of the problems we came across with using that was the LIB, the 3-minute finality on EOS. Now a year later we can actually continue development of that system with on-chain 3 Seconds LIB. That was in conjunction with a very large multinational company here based in Thailand and globally around the world. And that’s just one of the number of projects we are working on and hoping to develop on BOS. We are meeting more and more every day and I think that BOS as a platform for projects to develop and roll out their projects is a very attractive prospect for the future.

I feel so blessed and so happy to be a part of BOS at this early stage. You can see where BOS is going. We are in such a crucial time in history as we are creeping into the fourth industrial revolution. One of the major characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution is speed. It took 75 years for 100 million users to adopt the telephone but Pokemon go Caught that amount in just a month. We see the need for speed in this digital age as things get automated. Speed is everything. That is why BOS 3 Seconds LIB is very important for the blockchain industry and the entire fin-tech industry. Everyone is going to want to be associated with this blockchain, everyone benefits from our upgrade. It’s not only the 3 seconds LIB. We have IBC and oracle. Tai Zhuo from DAppLinks stated that after the BOS 3 Seconds LIB was upgraded, he tested it. He said that it as rapid as lightning and is faster than Zukmail. They have a platform for games, they know more developers and know their demands of developing. He believes that after the achievement of three seconds LIB they can attract more developers to build dApps on their platform. He said that he is really impressed by the 3 Seconds LIB, as this would really change the world and is a real technical revolution.

This is a very miracle day for us. I am very happy to participate in the event on behalf of BOS. We have been following the project and the team since 17th of January on main net. The team is reaching their goal as undertaken in the whitepaper for this. We know that they are working hard and they are a successful team. Today the happening of 3 S LIB is a milestone for the crypto world it is inspiring and exciting. We can see this as BOS volunteers of Turkey.
